The XIII. district of Budapest, known as Ujlipotvaros is one of the nicest and most interesting parts of Pest, a traditional middle-class Jewish district, today a bustling bohemian artsy quarter with plenty of small cafes, bars, art galleries and independent cinemas, like the one in our building, two floors below The Groove.

Besides the cinema there is a 24-hour bar/restaurant operating in our house as well as a currency exchange booth, a tattoo parlor and a beauty salon. 24-hour grocery stores are around the corner with 3 supermarkets and a bunch of restaurants within a few blocks. Nyugati train station is just a few hundred meters away, Keleti station is just a busride, the airport a trainride away, trams and buses stop around the corner... could you ask for more?*
